A family coffeeshop on the same corner for over 35 years — charcoal-grilled toast, kopi pulled the old way, and the local plates you grew up on.

Makan Corner opened in 1989 as a humble neighbourhood kopitiam — and we’ve been on the same corner ever since. The recipes haven’t changed, and neither has the welcome.
Our regulars have come for decades. Now their kids — and their kids’ friends — drop by for the kaya toast, the mee siam, and a proper cup of local coffee.
